The default C1 installation comes in three flavors.
The Starter Site is designed for both novices and advanced front-end developers and is based on the 1140 CSS Grid for styling.
It comes with a set of minimalistic templates and a set of skins for starting a new site, which can be easily customized and extended. Besides, you can apply one of the four skins to the starter site, it comes with:
The Bare Bones setup targets those web designers and developers who know what they want and are ready to build their websites from scratch.
The Bare Bones option provides a minimum setup and is recommended for those who are familiar with C1 or willing to experiment.

The OmniCorp option installs a full-fledged demo website with some functionality implemented and some dummy content on pages.
This option is recommended for those who are new to C1 or would rather see first how other people use it.
